Dekon Group has a National Key Laboratory Innovation Base for Pig and Poultry Breeding Industry, Southwest Pig Breeding and Expansion Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Key Laboratory of Poultry Genetic Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture, National Spark Program Leading Enterprise Technology Innovation Center, National Pig Technology Innovation Center-Breeding Technology Research and Development Center, and Southwest Branch of the National Pig Health Collaborative Innovation Center, and owns two national core pig breeding farms, one national core broiler breeding farm, and one national Huiyang bearded chicken breeding conservation farm. It won the honor of National Livestock and Poultry Breeding Industry Formation Enterprise.

In recent years, by relying on its strong scientific and technical advantages, genetic resources and breeding system, the Group has undertaken more than 50 national, provincial and ministerial level major scientific research projects, including the National 863 Program and 948 Program. Its key pig breeding indicators are at the international leading level, making the Group one of the large-scale export suppliers of high-quality parental chicken in China.

It drives a group of efficient and ecological smart breeding and industrial poverty alleviation demonstration models, and enables the organic integration of farmers with modern agricultural development to promote rural development, increase farmers’ income, boost industry prosperity, and shape an efficient and sustainable eco-agricultural and animal husbandry model that achieves multiple wins.

Dekon achieves the “dream of healthy food” with an international vision, completes a complete industrial chain layout from the farm to the dining table, and promotes it with a high starting point and high standards. It collaborates with well-known enterprises such as Toennies Group, a comprehensive meat food enterprise in Germany to deepen cooperation in system construction and scientific research, with a purpose of building a high-quality food system in line with “EU standards and local characteristics”.

Up to now, Dekon Group’s high-quality slaughtering and food processing projects have been successfully landed in Yibin City and Meishan City, Sichuan Province and Suqian City, Jiangsu Province, and have been actively deployed and promoted to the whole country in accordance with the development thought of “building one and completing one”.
